Earlier I posted about Dog Collar Charms and Sara, the woman who started this unique business idea. Aside from letting me create a dog collar charm for my family’s dogs, Sara also gave me the opportunity to create two custom dog collar charms to give out to some fellow dog owners. At first I wasn’t sure what to put on charms for people I don’t know, but a quick Google search turned up some really cute dog-themed graphics that I used. I made a pirate/skull-and-crossbones charm and one (my favorite) that says, “You had me at woof.”
I headed out to my local dog park to find someone to give the charms out to, and quickly met some really nice dogs (their owners weren’t too bad either!). First up was Zoey, a cute little dog with a penchant for tennis balls. Zoey is owned by Tara, who loved the pirate charm. I think this spunky accessory was a perfect fit for them.
Next we gave the “You had me at woof” charm to Chico, a feisty little Chihuahua. Patricia is Chico’s owner, and she loved the idea behind Dog Collar Charms. She plans to make a charm for her other Chihuahua as well, and was happy to hear that the process is a simple three steps online.
You can check out more photos of the dog collar charms on ThisMoment. What do you think? Would you put a dog charm on your dog? And if you did, what would you put on it?
