We’ve been traveling up a storm lately, and I’m excited to reveal one of my next adventures! The city of Branson, Missouri is hosting a group of bloggers next week for an in-depth look at their exciting activities.
We’ll be taking in numerous star-studded performances like Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede and the Showboat Branson Belle.
I’m hoping to get a first-hand look at some of Branson’s many outdoor adventures. They have family-friendly theme parks like Silver Dollar City, three pristine lakes for fishing, horseback riding trails, caves and more. Missouri is one of the few states that I haven’t been to yet, so I’m really thrilled to meet the people and get a feel for the area. I’ve thoroughly explored both coasts, but the whole mid-section of the states is new territory for me.
As with every place I visit, I’m particularly interested in family-friendly cultural opportunities. I’ll be checking out the Titanic Museum and the Hollywood Wax Museum (after living next to Hollywood for six years, would you believe I STILL haven’t seen the California location?).
There will also be plenty of boutique shopping, and I may squeeze in a quick spa visit because I could seriously go for a massage right now. Nate will be watching the boys back home for the week, so this is a mini “Mama vacation” for me to scope out the sights before bringing the kids when they’re a little bit older.
Any other suggestions for me to see while I’m in Branson?
