I mentioned a few weeks ago that I got a separate phone for work. I decided to go with Walmart Family Mobile. because they have ridiculously low prices and easy online account management with a month-to-month plan. Confession: that separate phone has become my “main” phone. I didn’t mean to give the number out to everyone, but it was so much easier to navigate calls…and life…with the large screen and easy interface. I instantly dubbed it my “fantasy football phone,” taking advantage of the unlimited data to manage my fantasy football happenings.
You probably won’t be surprised to read that I’m kind of a competitive guy. I got a football scholarship for college and did my best to spend the next five years (yes, I redshirted) knocking out the competition and generally striving to be the best of the best. That’s pretty much the name of the game. I tackle life in a similar fashion, always pulled in by the latest and greatest advancements in everything from technology to food.
The ability to buy just about any phone on the market to pair with this plan is what really sold me. I was able to get the best phone I’ve seen yet: the Samsung Galaxy s4. The split screen helps me do research on players while managing the draft. It gives me the ability to make quick audibles. Because of the application manager on the phone, I can decide which apps to run so I can quickly access them. It helps me do fast research and make changes on the go.
And the bigger screen is way better to watch games on.
In essence, a larger screen is akin to updating to the best Riddell cleats. Everything just works better this way.
And did I mention I’m saving money with my #FamilyMobileSaves #cbias plan? According to my wife, money saving in life is a pretty good strategy in general. And not a bad lesson to pass on to the kids…along with the basics of man-to-man defense.
