Father’s Day Printables to Make Life Easy

| | Updated:

Not sure what to get dad for the big day? Read on, friends. We worked with Kohl's to create a series of Father's Day printables that will make this holiday a breeze.

I've made something of a tradition out of getting Nate the most cheesy thing I can possibly find on Father's Day. It's cool, guys, he's made a tradition of forgetting Mother's Day. So we're even. I've gotten him mugs, “best dad” shirts, monogrammed hats. You name it. If it's cheesy, I've bought it.

This year I decided to get him some stuff he'd actually use, but still incorporate a touch of corniness with the addition of my own Father's Day printable tags.

Nate is obsessed with hot sauce. OBSESSED. So when I stumbled on a set of hot sauces with funny names at Kohl's, I had to snatch it up. “Butt Burner” is my favorite, because the kids are in a phase where they think anything related to butts is hysterical. Who am I kidding? It's not a phase. It's just a boy thing.

Continuing the kitchen theme, I grabbed a fruit basket and a bunch of spoons and spatulas. Kohl's was having a huge Food Network sale so I actually grabbed two of each item. Nate and I have noticed that our utensils have a habit of disappearing and re-emerging as part of the kids' imaginary “soup” concoctions or subbing in for pretend razors and microphones.

On to the outdoor cooking! A spice set and beer can chicken roaster can help dad show off his skills on the grill.

Back inside, this fish doubles as a bottle cap holder. It's actually a perfect gift for Nate to receive from the boys since he's been renovating their room to incorporate a nautical theme. The revamp is slow-going, but you can get a sneak peek at the wall features he's added above. While the boys won't use their fish for bottle caps, they'll make a sweet decoration for their room.

Nate also goes the extra mile as a dad by giving the kids at-home haircuts in the kitchen. His clippers have gotten pretty worn out after years and years of trimming, so I snatched up this WAHL set at an awesome price.

Now we can look forward to many, many more years of this.
