I’ve always been a fan of high-end resale clothing, and frequently find treasures for myself at places like Buffalo Exchange, Crossroads, and local boutiques. So it makes sense that instead of buying insanely-priced new clothes for my soon-to-be-born baby, I’d find cute resale kids clothes at consignment stores as well. Kids grow so fast. Frequently, kids consignment clothing has only been worn once or twice and it’s a fraction of the cost of buying new!
You can find used kids clothes online, but it can be difficult to tell the size and condition of an outfit from photos alone. Also, shipping can cost a fortune. Local consignment shops for kids are great, but can be difficult to find and sometimes aren’t the best value, as store owners pay a hefty overhead for rental space. The very best place to buy and sell your kids clothing is at a consignment sale, which gathers community members to buy and sell their clothing. Parents exactly what they’re getting, and can find high-quality clothing at rock-bottom prices.
