We have a LOT of toys around our house. There’s a whole plethora of bikes, tricycles, skates, mini cars, sleds…not to mention to the snowboards and surfboards. It seems that the most universally loved toy right now, however, is our new Rockboard Scooter.
The Rockboard Scooter is like a scooter with a board on top that rocks back and forth to propel the rider forward. It’s adjustable and fits everyone from about 5 years old on up. It definitely sees the most use from my 300-pound father-in-law. I love it because I have this bizarre fear of bikes (I can ride them, I just choose not to) so the Rockboard Scooter lets me keep up with everyone else on a ride around the neighborhood or park.
It also folds down really small for easy, convenient transportation, and the board can be locked down in place to function like a normal, flat scooter. We pretty much always use it in the “rocking” Rockboard Scooter mode because you can get the most speed that way. At about $200 it’s not a cheap toy, but it’s worth it for something that the whole family can enjoy for years to come
