My Live Fully endeavor (essentially my own version of a “bucket list”) is based on the idea that every person needs a set of goals and inspirations to make life fun. Obviously, the overarching goal for most parents is to raise a happy family. Underneath that, however, there are small things that thrill each of us and help motivate us day-to-day. Jumping out of an airplane. Swimming with the dolphins. Having an occasional cup of coffee in absolute peace and quiet. That can’t be too much to ask, can it?
I’ve saved money on a number of things on my Live Fully list using daily deal sites like Plum District. I went up in a hot air balloon for half price. I rode in a helicopter for less. Next, I’ll be learning to surf at a discount with Plum District’s Buccaneer Surf Institute deal (just $40 for a surf lesson in Oceanside – that’s half off the normal $80 price). If you’re looking to tackle your own Live Fully list, I highly recommend you subscribe to Plum District so you can save some money, even if you don’t live in San Diego. The site has deals all over the nation and has a handy map that shows all the current deals near your home, from restaurant certificates to gifts. If you DO live in San Diego, hurry over there today! Right now you can get a certificate to Java Mama for just $6, where you’ll finally get some quiet time over a nice cup of coffee while someone else watches the kids for a change.
This post is sponsored by Plum District. I received money towards Plum District deals (which I plan on using for more of my Live Fully goals!) in exchange for writing this post.
