BRITAX B-READY stroller

I saw What to Expect When You're Expecting the movie earlier this week, and I spent most of my time in the theater totally geeking out over all the fun baby products in the film. Having a one-year-old and another one on the way has led to a minor obsession with baby gear. I never understood it before I was a parent, but this stuff takes a serious beating and the construction that goes into some of the higher end brand names (plus the rigorous endurance testing, safety precautions and compliance with government regulations) is just astounding. Even Nate gets all excited over things like stroller suspension systems. I'd say our real fascination with the mechanics behind it all started when we got the BRITAX B-AGILE stroller. That thing has mechanics on it like we'd never seen and handles any terrain with ease while folding up into a mind-bogglingly flat space for easy storage and lightweight transportation.

BRITAX B-READY

So imagine our giddiness when BRITAX sent over a BRITAX B-READY stroller! This, people, THIS is the king of strollers. It goes from a single to a double with an optional add-on attachment (heck yes, that is top of our baby registry list at the moment), fitting Britax car seats and bassinets, as well as quite a few car seats from some other major baby brands. Between single and double mode, it has over 14 configurations to hold one or two kids from birth up to 55 pounds with the infant seat adapter, so a parent of two or twins could truly get by with just this one stroller…EVER.

Even with just our one kid for now, we've had a blast switching the top seat from forward-facing to and backwards and trying out its various reclining functions. I'm also loving the huge storage space that's accessible from the front, back and even the sides with easy-open zippers. Best of all, it features BRITAX's famous simple fold feature with an automatic chassis lock, so I don't have to go fumbling with the stroller when I have other things to focus on (like, say, fumbling to get the baby strapped into the car). Nate approved of the all-wheel suspension and the adjustable handle height that amazingly fits his 6'4″ frame – a feat that no other stroller we've owned to date has accomplished. Oh and – AND – you can fold it down with in double mode with two seats attached. Amazing.
