In season eight of One Tree Hill, Brooke and Julian finally got married. I love TV show weddings, largely because there doesn’t always seem to be a budget! The producers and set designers can dream up any fairytale wedding scenario they want, it seems. And they didn’t hold anything back for this one. Brooke’s had a lot of highs and lows, so it was nice to see her get her dream come true. She came out in a beautiful flowy dress (designed specifically for the show by BCBG Max Azria and Sophia Bush herself) with white roses and a gorgeous headband tiara thing.
If Nate and I were to do the marriage thing over again, it would be a carnival out in a big field far away from everything. We’ve even talked about how we’d plan it if we had our wedding to do over. An In N Out truck, bounce houses, a ferris wheel, one of those big swing things, cotton candy. I’d want all of our friends to have a day of fun and just feel like they were kids again. It would be joyful and really reflect our fun-loving, easy-going attitude as a couple. I’m determined to do it for our tenth anniversary. Don’t get me wrong: the wedding we had was perfect and gorgeous. Now that I’ve had the picturesque dream wedding, though, I just want to have some fun.
