I absolutely adore pumpkin pie. And I’m rather smitten with greek yogurt. They’re close to the top on my list of great food loves. So one day earlier in the holiday season this year, I had a genius idea. Yogurt + pumpkin pie = pumpkin pie yogurt! It’s like pumpkin pie in semi-liquid form. Plus, eating a few bowls of this is a whole lot healthier than eating a few bowls full of pumpkin pie, and you feel significantly less guilty afterwards. Holiday dieters, rejoice!
- 1 cup greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons Torani Pumpkin Pie syrup
- Pour Torani syrup over greek yogurt and serve.
How to make Pumpkin Pie Yogurt
I love Torani’s new Pumpkin Pie syrup flavor. It’s SO much better than their old Pumpkin Spice flavor, which in my opinion was a whole lot of spice and not very much pumpkin. This flavor truly tastes like pumpkin pie. One day I want to actually try to bake a pie with this syrup as a main ingredient. I bet it would make for some dang good fudge or pumpkin cookies, even.
Pour it directly over greek yogurt. I like to drizzle it around the bottom of the bowl and dip my yogurt in it to get the perfect amount in each spoonful, but that’s totally up to you.
Voila! Pumpkin pie yogurt. This is one of those ridiculously easy recipe ideas that goes a long way with practically no effort. Try serving it to overnight guests for breakfast during the busy holiday season. They’ll be impressed, and you won’t have to add “make breakfast” to your endless list of things to do (which reminds me…how is that holiday shopping coming along? Did you buy the in-laws’ gifts yet?). I’m willing to bet this pumpkin pie yogurt will even make a convert of people who don’t typically like greek yogurt. Give it a shot and tell me what you think!
