Rizzoli & Isles – ‘Don't Stop Dancing, Girl'

I mentioned last week that I've started watching Rizzoli and Isles, a refreshing take on the traditional cop show that features women cops with real-life issues and real personalities (for a change). I enjoy that the show doesn't take itself too seriously, and all the dramatic shoot-em-up scenes are offset by plenty of comic relief. Nate can't resort to his often-heard “That would NEVER happen!” exclamations when the characters are already ironically pointing out the oddities in their own plot sequence.

Tonight's episode shows what happens when “the world of competitive dance turns deadly.” Killer ballerinas: it doesn't get any better than that! Apparently, the mother of a star performer is stabbed to death and Rizzoli and Isles have to figure out what happened. I'm willing to bet the dance instructor did it. Just saying. They're always a likely contendor for murder, right? Tune in tonight at 10/9c on TNT. If you haven't seen the show, you can check it out here http://bit.ly/lnDvyi.

I have been hired by Warner Bros. WBWord division to promote Rizzoli & Isles.
