Jordan Catapano and Jocelyn Dunn Muhlbach, the sisters behind This Girl Walks Into a Bar, shared this remarkably easy step-by-step that I recently thought of as I prepped for the most romantic holiday of the year. DIY bottled cocktails would be a perfect Valentine's Day gift for a beverage-lover!

All you need is a bottle capper, bottles and bottle caps. Stir together your cocktail, fill the bottle and crimp the cap on by slowly squeezing the capper. That's it. Throw a custom label on there, tie on a bottle opener, fill up a carrier and you have a sweet and sentimental gift. I can totally envision college dudes whipping up their girl's favorite drink and taking it along on a romantic picnic.

Because all guys are that cutesy and thoughtful, right?

And they'll hold a boom box over their head while they're at it. With sweet puppy dog eyes and a dapper coat.

I may have watched Say Anything too many times.

My favorite drink, pretty and pink for Valentine's Day, is cleverly called the “Chelsea Woo Woo.” It's a spin off of something a bartender introduced me to on a family reunion cruise. Classy, I know. It'll help you woo the lover in your life.

Ingredients
  • 1 oz Malibu Coconut rum
  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz tequila
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz maraschino liqueur
Instructions
  1. Shake with ice.
  2. Add a squeeze of lime, if you feel so inclined.
  3. Serve.
