I came home the other day to find the most heartfelt wedding thank you card on our dining room table (which reminds me, I should probably get on OUR wedding thank you cards soon). The really awesome thing about this one was that it came from the groom. Have you ever gotten a wedding thank you card from a GROOM? I haven't. They always come from the bride, who you know invariably plopped herself in front of a True Blood marathon and droned out dozens of form cards, just filling in the blanks: “Thank you so much for coming to our wedding. We really love the (insert name of gift here). I know we will enjoy it for many years to come. With Love, (insert name here).”

This wedding thank you card was definitely the opposite:

“I don't think that there is enough room within this card to express the thanks that we feel for having such wonderful friends, who are caring, thoughtful and…well damnit. I can't even fathom a word that could provide the emotion and respect that we have for the two of you. I guess to put it bluntly; We love you and thank you greatly.”

With friends like these, who needs…anything else?

Nate will DEFINITELY be put in charge of sending our wedding thank you card to them!
