I've recently been working with McCormick, using their Skillet Sauces to speed up meal prep. McCormick’s packets take care of the seasoning and liquid, with suggestions on the package for which meat or veggies to add in order to make it a complete meal. This one is meant to be used for stir-fry, but I'm a rebel and like to get creative with my skillet sauce.

I truss up the sesame chicken by tying the legs together. This is important to ensure that is cooks evenly. Then, slather that sauce all over.

Frozen veggies mean I don't have to run to the grocery store as often, which is a lifesaver with three little kids. This whole meal can come from stuff I have either frozen or stashed in the pantry! The sesame sauce runs off the chicken and mingles with the vegetables for a delicious, saucy side. I find that soft vegetables like peas or beans can get a little overly-tender. If that bothers you, stick with something a little more solid like carrots or onions.

Flipping the sesame chicken over halfway through cooking ensures that it gets evenly-done.

Drizzling the sesame chicken every ten minutes or so with juices from the pan helps really infuse the flavor and make it moist all the way through.
