If you've been reading Someday I'll Learn for awhile, you may recall that I choose a scripture for our family to focus on each year. It's been incredible to see positive change annually from meditating on a single verse.

In 2013 I chose Galatians 5:22-23, which lists off the fruits of the spirit that I wanted to instill in our life. We got started in our own home, filling it with love and joy and much-needed peace. I personally learned to be a gentler person and I let go of some things that were stifling my heart.

Last year was Proverbs 4:25-25, with a focus on being steadfast. We reigned in our commitments, focused intently on goals and the direction we want our lives to go in.

This is the day. Rejoice! Inspirational quote.

This year it's Psalm 118:24. A classic that is cherished by many. “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

For me, this is the year – this is the DAY – of living wholly in the moment. What will this year bring for you?
